The Educator’s Professional Oath
I vow to conduct myself at all times in a responsible manner and in complete accordance with the tenets of this covenant
| 1. | I shall always treat each and every student with respect, warmth and understanding and offer them encouragement and acknowledge their achievements. |
| 2. | I shall continuously seek knowledge about the way learning happens and continuously expand and update my knowledge in my field of specialization. |
| 3. | I shall honestly and diligently apply, for the benefit of my students, all measures that are required to maximize their learning, including requesting help from colleagues when the skills of another are needed. |
| 4. | I shall strictly respect the privacy of my students and I shall share information about them in the right manner, at the right time and in the right place and only to serve their well being and educational interest. |
| 5. | I shall conduct myself with integrity and be a good example for my students and fellow educators. |
| 6. | I shall remember that I teach human beings whose lack of knowledge shall affect them, their families and their societies and I shall hold myself accountable for my performance. |
